CoastNex is operated by COASTLINECOUTURE LLC. This policy applies to personal data we collect through the CoastNex website, account registration, dashboard, and API, and describes how we handle message metadata processed on behalf of account holders using the platform.
2. Data we collect
We collect and store the following categories of data:
- Account email address and phone number.
- Passwords, stored only as salted scrypt hashes — we never store or have access to your plaintext password.
- Consent records, including the version and timestamp of the Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and any communications consent you accept.
- Message metadata, such as sender ID, destination route, delivery timestamps, and delivery receipt (DLR) status, generated through use of the messaging platform.
3. Purpose of processing
We use this data to create and secure your account, authenticate sessions, operate SMPP and REST API connectivity, route and deliver messages, generate DLR analytics, bill for usage, prevent fraud and abuse, comply with legal and carrier obligations, and provide customer support.
4. Retention
We retain account and consent records for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward to meet legal, billing, and dispute-resolution needs. Message metadata is retained only as long as needed for delivery confirmation, DLR analytics, and fraud prevention, after which it is deleted or de-identified.
5. Security
Passwords are hashed with scrypt before storage and are never kept or logged in plaintext. Authenticated sessions are managed with an HttpOnly session cookie, so session tokens are not accessible to client-side scripts. We apply access controls, encryption in transit, and monitoring designed to protect account and message data, though no system can be guaranteed completely secure.
6. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a copy of your personal data, and you may withdraw communications consent at any time. To exercise any of these rights, contact [email protected].
7. No sale of data
We do not sell your personal data. Data is used only to provide, secure, bill for, and support the CoastNex platform, and is shared only with service providers bound by confidentiality obligations or where required by law.
